Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10/25/2026

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data Solution Startups, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("we", "us", "Solution"), collects, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices and rights you have. It applies to the Solution mobile applications and website (together, the "Service").

By using the Service you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are and how to contact us

Solution Startups, Inc. operates the Service. For any privacy question, request, or complaint, contact us at Offices@Solution4u.com.

2. Age requirement

The Service is intended for individuals aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete it. If you believe a person under 18 has provided us with personal data, contact us at Offices@Solution4u.com.

3. Personal data we collect

Account data. When you create an account we collect your name and email address. If you sign in using Apple or Google, we receive identifiers from that provider, which may include your name and email address, in accordance with your settings with that provider and their privacy policy. Authentication credentials are handled by our authentication provider; we do not store your password in readable form.

Profile data. Information you choose to add to your profile, which may include a profile photograph, professional role, a self-reported city or country, biography, education and work history, areas of expertise and interest, links you provide, and similar professional details. This information is voluntary; you decide what to include. Note that we collect a self-reported location as free text if you choose to enter one — we do not collect device location, and the Service does not access your device's GPS or location services.

Content you create. Content you submit through the Service, including posts, articles, comments, direct messages, startup and company profiles, opportunities and requests, applications, and nominations, together with images you upload.

Goals and questions to our assistant. The reasons you tell us you joined Solution (up to three, for example finding a co-founder), and the questions you ask Ask Solution, our in-app assistant, together with the answers it gives. Please do not include personal details in your questions.

Usage and interaction data. Information about how you use the Service, such as features accessed, content viewed, interactions with other members' profiles and content, and activity history used to operate features such as activity summaries and profile-view records.

Device and technical data. Device and application information such as device type, operating system version, application version, language, and general connection information. Where you enable push notifications, we collect a push notification token for your device so that notifications can be delivered.

Diagnostic data. If the application encounters an error or crash, we collect diagnostic information such as the error, a technical stack trace, application version, and device model, to identify and fix faults.

Subscription data. Your plan, subscription status, and transaction history as reported to us by the Apple App Store, Google Play, or our subscription management provider. Subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Those stores process the payment and hold the payment method; we do not receive, hold, or store your payment card details.

Communications. Records of correspondence when you contact us, and reports you submit about other members or content.

We do not collect precise device location, contacts, health data, financial account data, or biometric data.

4. How we use personal data

We use personal data to:

- create and administer your account and authenticate you; - operate the Service and make its features available, including profiles, search, messaging, opportunities, and community features; - display your profile and public content to other members as the Service is designed to do; - deliver notifications you have enabled, including push and email notifications about relevant activity; - process and manage subscriptions, verify entitlements, and maintain access rights; - answer your questions about using Solution through Ask Solution, and learn which parts of the Service need explaining; - provide support and respond to your enquiries; - maintain the safety and integrity of the Service, including reviewing reports, investigating suspected violations, preventing fraud and abuse, and enforcing our Terms and policies; - diagnose faults, monitor stability, and improve and develop the Service; - understand how the Service is used, in aggregate, to inform product decisions; - send service-related communications, and, where you have not opted out and where permitted by law, communications about features and updates; and - comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

Where we rely on consent — for example for optional notifications — you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal. Otherwise we process personal data as necessary to perform our contract with you, to comply with legal obligations, or for our legitimate interests in operating, securing, and improving the Service, balanced against your rights.

5. Content that is visible to others

Solution is a professional network. Your profile and the content you post in shared areas of the Service are visible to other members, and may be visible to the public where the Service makes them so. Direct messages are visible to the recipient.

Please do not post information you do not wish to be seen by others. Content shared with others may be copied or retained by them outside our control.

6. How we share personal data

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising, promotional, or marketing purposes.

We disclose personal data only in the following circumstances:

Service providers acting on our instructions. We use third-party providers to operate the Service. They process personal data only to provide services to us, under contract, and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes. The providers we currently use are:

- Supabase — application hosting, database, authentication, and file storage; - RevenueCat — verification and management of subscription status and entitlements. RevenueCat receives your Solution account identifier and the subscription and transaction information reported by the app store, together with device identifiers its software collects. It does not receive your name, email address, or payment card details, and it does not process your payment; - Apple and Google — authentication where you choose to sign in with them, and processing of purchases and subscriptions made through their app stores, each acting under its own terms and privacy policy; - Expo — delivery of push notifications; - Sentry — application error and crash diagnostics; - Resend — delivery of transactional email; - PostHog — product analytics. Records how the Service is used, including screens viewed and actions taken, against an identifier for your device and, once you sign in, your account. It is used to understand and improve the product; it is not used for advertising and is not combined with data from other companies. - Meta — measurement of our advertising. The app's Meta SDK reports app opens and sign-up, profile and membership events as described under Advertising measurement below. It is not used to show you advertisements inside Solution. - Groq — writes the replies of Ask Solution, our in-app assistant, Bella. When you ask her a question, Solution sends Groq your question, your last exchange with the assistant, and our own written answers about Solution, so that she can word the reply. To tailor answers, we also send your role, your goals, and whether your profile and startup page are set up. We never send your name, email address, contact details, or anything about other members. Groq is not permitted to train its models on this content, and we have turned on Groq's zero data retention setting, so Groq does not store these questions or replies.

**Advertising measurement.** The app includes the software development kit of Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which we use to measure whether our advertisements work. When you open the app, finish signing up, finish your profile, or start or buy a membership, the app tells Meta that this happened, so we can see which advertisements lead to people joining. These events do not include your name, email address, messages, or anything you create on Solution. We have turned off collection of your device's advertising identifier, and we do not ask for permission to track you, because we do not use these events to follow you across other companies' apps and websites. Meta handles the events under its own privacy policy. Where you install the app after seeing an advertisement, Apple's SKAdNetwork may also report that install to the advertising platform. SKAdNetwork is operated by Apple and reports aggregated, delayed conversion data only; it does not identify you.

This list reflects the providers in use as at the date of this Policy. If we introduce an additional provider that processes personal data, we will update this list and, where the change is material, provide notice in accordance with Section 15.

Other members. Information you make available through your profile and content, as described in Section 5. This is a function of the Service, not a disclosure to a third party for its own purposes.

Legal and regulatory disclosures. Where we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to comply with a legal obligation, court order, subpoena, or other lawful request by a public authority.

Safety, security, and fraud prevention. To detect, investigate, prevent, or address fraud, abuse, security incidents, technical issues, or violations of our Terms and policies, and to protect the rights, property, or safety of Solution, our members, or the public.

Professional advisers and business operations. To our auditors, insurers, accountants, and legal advisers, where necessary and subject to confidentiality obligations.

Business transfers. If Solution is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets, personal data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will take reasonable steps to ensure it remains subject to protections consistent with this Policy, and will notify you where required by law.

With your direction or consent. Where you ask us to share information, or where you have given consent.

If we later introduce advertising or analytics services that would involve selling or sharing personal information for advertising purposes as those terms are defined under applicable law, we will update this Policy, update our app store privacy disclosures, and provide any notice, consent, or opt-out mechanism required by law before doing so.

7. International transfers

We and our service providers may process personal data in countries other than the one in which you live, and data protection laws in those countries may differ. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection as required by applicable law, including using standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms where applicable.

8. Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy.

After your account is deleted, we may retain certain information where retention is required by law or is reasonably necessary to: comply with tax, accounting, and other legal obligations; resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and maintain the integrity of the Service. Information of this kind is retained only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose.

Content you shared with other members, and content that has been copied or quoted by others, may remain visible after your account is deleted where it is no longer solely within our control. Backup copies are removed in the ordinary course of our backup rotation.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your Solution account at any time from within the app: open your Profile, then Settings, then Delete Account.

Deleting your account removes your profile and associated personal data from our active systems, subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 8.

Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and does not stop future charges. To stop being billed you must cancel your subscription through the applicable store, and you should do so before deleting your account, since store subscription management is not accessible from within a deleted Solution account. Cancellation instructions are set out in our Subscription & Billing Policy.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion; object to or restrict certain processing; receive a copy of data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

Many of these can be exercised directly in the app: you can review and edit your profile at any time, and delete your account as described in Section 9. For other requests, contact Offices@Solution4u.com. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we may decline a request where an exception applies under applicable law.

Additional information for individuals in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom is set out in our GDPR Compliance Statement, and for California residents in our CCPA Compliance Statement. Both form part of this Policy. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

11. Security

We use technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and restricted administrative access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If a personal data breach occurs, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority and affected individuals where and within the timeframes required by applicable law.

12. Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Our mobile applications use local device storage necessary for the application to function, such as keeping you signed in and storing your preferences. Further detail is in our Cookie Policy.

13. Third-party links and services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies before providing personal data.

14. Marketing and notifications

You can control push notifications through your device settings and, where offered, in the app. You can unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in those messages. We will continue to send communications necessary to operate your account, such as security, billing, and service notices.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Where a change is material, we will provide notice by email or in the app before it takes effect and update the date at the top. Your continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
